Product Description

Material: CaF₂;

Operating Wavelength: 2.0 μm -5.0 μm(AR Coating);

Application: imaging, beam expander or reducer, convergence;

     The plano-convex lenses from Tuniu feature one convex surface and one flat surface, providing positive focal lengths typically used for beam reduction, focal length shortening, or imaging magnification applications. To minimize spherical aberration, when a plano-convex lens is used for focusing a collimated beam, the beam should be incident on the curved surface; when collimating a point source, the beam should be incident on the flat surface. The CaF₂ plano-convex lenses from Tuniu are coated with 2.0–5.0 μm AR coating on both surface to reduce the reflectivity of the lens. Tuniu utilizes CaF₂ for manufacturing various lenses due to its exceptional transmission across ultraviolet and infrared spectra, combined with high laser damage threshold, making it particularly suitable for excimer laser applications. With a relatively low refractive index ranging between 1.35 and 1.51 over the 180 nm to 8.0 µm spectral range, CaF₂ demonstrates superior chemical inertness compared to similar materials like BaF₂ and MgF₂. Its notable hardness and broad spectral performance establish CaF₂ as an ideal optical material for UV and IR wavelength lens applications. All lenses undergo precision machining and strict quality control, ensuring Tuniu delivers high-quality optical products at competitive prices.

Attributes

Plano-Convex Lens, CaF₂, AR Coating 2.0-5.0 μm, Mounted or Unmounted

Substrate Material: CaF₂;

Operating Wavelength: 2.0 μm-5.0 μm (AR Coating);

Application: Beam Expander, Imaging, Beam Reducer, Focusing

     Plano-convex lenses are commonly used for applications such as beam reduction, focal length shortening, or imaging magnification. Tuniu utilizes CaF₂ to manufacture various lenses, which exhibit high transmittance across both ultraviolet and infrared spectral ranges along with an exceptionally high damage threshold, making them widely applicable in excimer laser industries. All circular lenses from Tuniu come pre-mounted in standard lens tubes or mounting adapters, with each mechanical component clearly marked with the product model, type, diameter, and focal length for quick parameter identification.
